Buses

The 002 goes from Weoley Castle Square via ,Bartley Green, Halesowen,.Colley Gate and Quarry Bank. to the Merry Hill Centre.
The 21 goes from Bartley Green (fairly near King Edwards, Five ways) via Weoley Castle Square, Lodge Hill Cemetery, Selly Oak (near to S.O. Hospital Outpatients), near the Woman's hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the edge of theUniversity , Harborne (by Bluecoats School and Marks and Spencers), Brindley Place (for the ICC, Symphony Hall and the Rep) and terminates at the Cathedral (near to Snow Hill Station).
The 29 goes from Northfield via Weoley Castle Square, Weoley Castle ruins, Barnes Hill (the RSPCA), along Quinton Road to the outer circle ring road (fairly near the Woman's and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals), along Harborne High Street (fairly near Bluecoats School), Brindley Place (for the ICC, Symphony Hall and the Rep) and terminates at the Cathedral (near to Snow Hill Station). Its Northfield terminus is a bit awkward at present while the By pass works proceed.
The 21 and 29 use different roads going into and out of the city in the Edgbaston area. The outward route passes, or is near to, The Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Edgbaston High School, St Georges School and Hallfield School .The inward route is failrly close to the first two but further away from the other two.
The 46 bus winds its way through many estates as it goes from the Turves Green in the south of the city to Perry Barr in the north. It goes via Northfield, Weoley Castle, Lodge Hill Cemetery, Selly Oak, the Woman's and Queen Elizabeth hospitals, the University, near Priory School, near Five Ways and through the City Centre It serves the Bullring, the markets, New Street Station, Moor Street Station, the Courts, Snow Hill Station.
The 61,62,63 ‘The Bristol road buses ‘ go from Frankley Beeches, Rednal and Rubery via Longbridge (not 61), Northfield and Selly Oak to the City Centre. Their city loop serves the Bullring, the markets, New Street Station, Moor Street Station, the Courts( this stop is not too bad for the Childrens Hospital), Corporation Street (fairly near Cathedral), the other side of New Street Station (not too bad for Symphony Hall and the Rep) and the Alexander Theatre.
The 64 comes from Bromsgrove to Rubery and then follows the 63’s route.
The 69 goes from Weoley Castle square via Somerford Road to Shenley Lane for Shenley Court School; it then doubles back along Gregory Road to the Catholic Church and goes round two sides of the small park to pass Lodge Hill Cemetery, B&Q, Sainsburys S.O. Station, the edge of the University, St Mary’s Hospice and then Kings Heath,Yardley Wood, the Maypole roundabout, Solihull Lodgeand Shirley on its way to Solihull Station. It seems a long journey but it is the same as going in to the city and taking a train from Moor Street.
The 86 is an hourly service from the Safeways at Rubery to the Woodgate Valley (About half way along the Country Park) It goes via Northfield , Shenley Fields Road, Weoley Castle Square, Barnes Hill (RSPCA) and Stonehouse Lane.
