Bristol Road, Northfield chapel was completed in 1937 for £5,000. Baptist worship in Northfield appears to have begun in 1911 when, for the convenience of the inhabitants of 150 new houses on the Bournville estate, services were held in the village hall. In 1915 a temporary building was opened in Bunbury Road, (fn. 65) seating 126, (fn. 66) and continued to be registered for public worship until 1937. (fn. 67) Church membership in 1956 was 150. (fn. 68) During the First World War mission work was begun at Longbridge from which the church at Turves Green derives. (fn. 69)
Training sessions are held every Wednesday evening (7.30pm to 9pm) at King Edwards VI High School (Girls), click here for a map. Apply on Bournville site

Welcome to Ty Carreg, which roughly in Welsh means House of Stone and belongs to the Stonehouse Gang through the generosity of the late Mr Douglas Turner. Situated on the edge of Brecon Beacons National Park, the house stands on a hillside overlooking the Wye Valley and Black Mountains.
Ty Carreg has excellent facilities in the form of a lounge, well-equipped kitchen, dining room, 2 large dormitories, 2 staff bedrooms with en suite facilities and sun lounge. The building is double gazed and centrally heated.
Joined to the main building by a covered way are 3 hot showers, washroom/drying room and toilet . There is also a large games hall for your use although you will need to supply your own equipment.
