In the city centre you will find Anglican and Roman Catholic Cathedrals, Methodist Central Hall, Carrs Lane Church Centre and St Martins In the Bullring. The present Carrs Lane building is a replacement for the old central Congregational Church. Both it and St Martins are used by a variety of Christian groups. The South Birmingham Vineyard Church has now moved from the Dame Elizabeth Cadbury School to St Martins.
You can also find two churches with Welsh Language Services, one near Holloway Head and the other in Loveday Street.

These are not well catered for in Weoley Hill. (But there is an Islamic Studies department at Westhill.)
Birmingham Central Mosque is to the south of the city Centre on the inner ring road www.centralmosque.org.uk
There are three Synagogues to the south and west of the city centre. Singers Hill is sometimes referred to as Blucher Street and sometimes as Ellis Street; it sits between the two!

Weoley Hill The United Reform Church (map) is the only church actually in Weoley Hill but there are plenty just outside our boundaries. For example a R.C. church 'Our Lady & St. Rose of Lima' Weoley Castle, is only separated from Weoley Hill by the small park that is the continuation of the Valley Parkway. St Mary’s is also very close on the Bristol Road. Its spire (right) can be seen from as far as the QE Hospital. Click the image to enlarge it.
