If you can't find a club for your hobby you could copy a group of people who hire the village hall to play badminton.
Voluntary Work
The Friends of Manor Park take an active interest in Manor park.
The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (The Woodlands) has an active league of friends and a holiday travel club. You can choose from a wide range of voluntary duties, i.e. gardening, clerical work, helping in the Coffee Shop, escorting patients, etc.
The other local hospitals all use volunteers for many purposes.
There are St Johns units in Bournville, Bournbrook, Northfield and Kings Norton. You can learn first aid, go on duties - even man an ambulance.
Less Active activities
The coffee morning at Weoley Hill Village Hall on the second Tuesday of each month attracts mostly an older clientele but everyone is welcome.
